Just a head's up: On July 1st, a variety of price increases will go into effect on some of the Shimano Rods & Reels. The prices of materials have gone up so high, Shimano doesn't have a choice. Most of the increases will be to their Top-Shelf products, and a handful of rods. If you are looking for anything special from Shimano, now is the time to grab it! We're still fully stocked on everything, so stop in and take advantage before the increase!

You wouldn't happen to know if the Shimano Baitrunner series spinning reels will be affected by this price increase? I don't think you folks regularly carry the Baitrunner reels,but,by chance, does Thorne Bros. have these reels, or can you order them? Thanks.

I don't see any of the Baitrunner series on our increase list for 7/1. I can't promise you that they won't increase in the near future, but it looks to me like you're safe for a bit. We don't carry that series in-store, however if Shimano makes it, we can get it. Let us know if there is something we can track down for you!
