As most of you know, our winter seminars are usually all about muskie fishing. This winter we will be branching out a little more.
This December and January we will be having 3 in-house seminars on ice fishing. All of the seminars will be held on Wednesday nights starting at 7pm. The presenters will be Thorne Bros Pro-Staffers Matt Johnson and Pat Smith.

December 13--Plastics Under The Ice--plastics are really coming into their hayday but are far too underutilized by most people. We will cover everything from tiny finesse baits to big attractor baits for panfish, perch, bass, walleyes, northern pike and lake trout.

January 3--Panfish: Finesse and Agressive Techniques--we've all been on the water when the fishing has been slow. Sometimes going into 'stealth mode' is what it takes, but othertimes 'totally obnoxious' works better to trigger a hit. How about when the fish are really going, will finesse or agressive tactics take the bigger fish? We'll cover it all on this night.

January 17--Multi-Species Tactics: How To Catch Those 'Other' Species--everyone likes to catch panfish, perch and walleyes, but have you tried to target anything else? Ciscos, whitefish, smallmouth and largemouth bass, white bass, catfish, eelpout and more will all fall to ice angling tactics and often fight much better than the 'traditional' fish. We'll also go over how to jig for pike.

Our summer seminars will start on January 24 and I will post that schedule as soon as it is finished. Bring a pen/paper and your questions and we'll see you here on Wednesday nights this winter.
