WOW! I got one! The Keys have had a bunch of bad weather...a friend told me he got 5 fishing days out of a 14 day period. Tons of wind, making it impossible to pole or stand, and muddying the backcountry. I got lucky, good weaher 2 out of 2 days. June 4 and 5. Hooked and landed a 65 pound tarpon on the ocean side on Tuesday...What a rush! When they go airborne, there's nothing like it. Watch for a Tarpon School in 2008...probably in June, Florida. I'm working on it. Probably 3 days. Stop in to the store and watch video of some tarpon jumps. I still have 4 days left to hang a 100 pounder this season...I'll try to post photos or video soon.
