What's better, a medium smallmouth or a big largemouth?

i just wonder if anyone out there deems 'TyGer'coated leader to be as "unbreakable" as fishing wire? that is...in the ads, they always say it is ABRASION RESISTANT. at the prices they are asking , i want it to work and not be sliceable from kingfish or wahoo teeth before i buy it. anybody know?

Tyger is nylon coated, braided wire. I have used it and the other similar brands like American Fishing Wire Surflon Ultra, and Cortland Toothy Critter Wire for Muskies, Pike, Cudas, and mackeral as well as other saltwater fish. I don't think it is necessarily better than solid wire, just easier to rig because it is tieable and flexible.

just wondering why TyGer costs so much more than the other coated lines. the ones i have tried are about $15.00 for 15 feet . that just seems a tad high priced. the brand which i did try, though, ---not TyGer--- WAS easy to tie and i trust it will repel fish teethies.?????

Tyger must consider itself to be a premium product..they do advertise quite a bit, that cost $. What brand did you buy?
