Fished evening of 6/20/06. Despite a weather forecast of severe thunderstorms, we caught many nice smallies up to 18" on poppers and deerhair divers. The river is very low for June, with pretty good clarity...I even sight-casted at a big smallie, only to lose it a few seconds after "hooking" it. The weather was great! PC to overcast, quite calm. Got lucky. You just can't predict our summer weather.
