Mann's new Elite Series takes the Baby 1- to a new level. Incredible colors with sculpted bodies with scale pattern, dimensional eyes and gill plate detail add a lot more realism to these baits. Extra strong red trebles make the bait even more attractive and help insure your catch. They even have a new, louder rattle. Colors are aurora black, ghost minnow, american shad, chart.shad, winter craw, spring craw, matte tiger and baby bass (pictured). $4.99 each. Like all 1-, these baits run 1"-2" on a slow retrieve with a maximum depth of 12" on a fast retrieve. Brett Erickson
I've done well with the Minus-1. I'm anxious to see how the Baby 1 works this year. Smaller profile can really work wonders some days out on the water and I've been very fond of the action of the larger version.
I used this lure in this clor pattern actualy oer memorial day weekend on a small bas lake near Detroit Lakes, and caught 9 bass over 2 pounds in 45 minutes just drifting a shallow shore with deadfalls for cover in my canoe!
Fishing with them in Canada has been a blast. Fishing for smallies, but also catching a bunch of pike, a fair amount of walleyes and a couple of muskies on them as well. The Elite models definitely have a MUCH louder rattle than the standard Baby 1-. Brett Erickson
