The Mann's new Hardnose Swim Toad is a 5" frog that can be buzzed on the surface, jerked or swam sub-surface or Texas rigged and flipped into heavy cover. It is a big bait and would be best to rig it on a big hook like a Gamakatsu 6/0 Superline hook and the Swim Toad has a big hook slot to accomodate a larger hook. All Hardnose baits have a head made of a harder soft plastic that keeps the eye of your hook inside the bait (making it more weedless). It also holds your hook or weight better and minimizes tearing making the bait last longer. Another benefit is that it will not slide down and bunch up on the hook when you retrieve it through weeds, brush or reeds and by it not balling up on the hook it ensures a good, solid hookset. All Mann's Hardnose baits also have S.P.I.C.E. fish attractant added to them.
