Whats the difference between the C-Series and the S-Series. Looked at the S this past weekend.
I'm looking for a multipurpose rod for large bucktails (double cowgirls) and regular bull dawgs. Brett what would you reccomend?

The S-series is more of a 'standard' action and power of muskie rod. The C-series is for more abusive types of muskie fishing--like Dawgs and other big/heavy baits. The C can also be built as long at 8'6" where the S can not. As far as recommendations, I would start by looking at the 7'6" or 8' C-series. Next time you are in, see if Lonnie, Bill or Pat is here and they can show you everything and get you exactly what you would like.

I have a huge collecion of every kind of rod made from back to about 1977 or so.
Still use them from time to time off my dock for fun.
Good, bad, some very ugly but they did the job.

Simply nothing like having a rod of your own custom built by Lonnie, Pat an Bill. They LISTEN to what your looken for in a rod.
Get a feel of how you fish an what you favor in lure types most often.
I said what I figured was very little when I met with them and got a TON in return.
They know how to listen an are craftsmen in the art of rod making.
NO DOUBT!
Fought a long time for one reason or another before I went to custom rods an have had nothing but wonderful success with them to date.
Following Bretts advise.
I would say go into the shop, no RUN INTO shop an have a talk, handle a few for a bit an get one made.
Simply the best.

Bare down of the beef, eaze off the potato salad.
My O My I'm so good looken!

I'll tell you how I like my 7'6" S-Series here in a couple weeks.
When it arrives I'll take some pics of it and post them here.

I recieved my 7'6" S-Series rod today and all I can say is WOW!!! All this for $139.95.
I've had custom rods in the past that cost twice as much and didn't have the attention to detail that this rod does.
My hats off to Lonnie, Pat, and Bill. You guys do excellent work and should be proud.
Here's a couple pics of the rod:
