Custom rods are in a league of their own. Not only do you get to create and use a rod that performs exactly how you want it, but you can customize it to reflect who you are.

Some options include adding various colors of threading used to wrap the guides or adding your name or slogan to the blank of the rod. Adding a longer or shorter handle depending on your style of fishing. Chaning the length of the rod to suit your desired action. The list goes on and on. Basically you get to personalize the rod... you could even start your own "series of rods" if you wanted and make all your rods with the same colors

I've taken it upon myself to get a few custom rods made up throughout the years at Thorne Bros, and they're worth every penny!

Everything from a 29-inch Panfish Sweet Heart with an over-sized handle for power fishing crappies, to a 32-inch Outside version Walleye Sweet Heart with custom colors and my name on it for running and gunning for hardwater catfish... I've found that customizing a rod allows me to fine-tune my time on the ice when looking for top-end performance.
