With the Canadian lake trout season about to start, I took inventory of my tackle and got a little bored looking at all the same 'stuff'--tubes, sonars, spoon, hair jigs, raps--and went on a mission to try and figure out new things to try. There are lots of cool new plastics that are just waiting for a lake trout or salmon to discover. Give some of the following ideas a try and report back if they worked for you.
