I had an incident where the plastic screen cover of my lowrance h20c was scratched with pliers pretty bad. Our manager nelly told me to get Meguiar's PlastX. The stuff is designed to take the scratches out of clear plastics....
Product description: "Easy to use, rich gel formula quickly restores optical clarity to both rigid and flexible clear plastics. Removes light oxidation, chemical degradation, surface contamination, stains and light surface scratches. Contains water-resistant polymers for durable protection." I bought the stuff at menards and worked it in for an hour or two rubbing it fairly hard and sure enough, the scratches came right out. They were deep and plenty of them, all came out with a little time and elbow grease. This stuff saved me a $149.99 repair fee. Fixed a few of my cd's too. Just make sure you use it only on the covered gps screens like you find on the h20. DO NOT put this stuff directly on non covered screens.
