I've been hearing about this fish for a while and just finally got around to taking the drive.
Has anyone else seen this or know any more about it?

From what I've heard it was found dead in the Chippewa Flowage. Whoever found it evidently claimed they caught it but were eventually found to be lying.

It's on display in Wheeler, Wisconsin at Wendy's Wheeler Inn (near Menominie) if anyone's interested in seeing the replica mount.
The burgers we had were pretty damn good as well.

Enjoy,

Johnny

I just heard from Larry Ramsell and this is what he had to say about it.

"That fish is BOGUS. I covered it fully in Volume II of the new 3rd Edition of my book, A Compendium of Muskie Angling History."
